I've seen slum dog millionaire, and Portillo in India, and best Marigold hotel, and guy in India... Indian trains are nothing but punctual!!!

And by that I mean they are punctual and nothing else

Thanks for your welcome. The Electric Cinema on Portobello Road has a good bar and claims to be the original UK cinema. When I first joined the police, Portobello Road was my first beat and I remember when it was boarded up prior to development. If you don’t know that area well it’s definitely worth a mooch - good bars, restaurants and vintage shops. Of course the antique market is on Saturdays but the fashionistas head up there on a Friday for vintage buys without the tourists. Other than that the Prince Charles cinema behind Leicester Square is a much less pretentious independent cinema showing cult films... my personal favourite

Oh sadly / happily I no longer wear uniform. I never managed to pull anyone when I wore it either ( apart from a officer from the Household Cavalry who “ out uniformed” me in a pair of knee boots and a sword )
