Just curious - do you like it hairy or do you like it smooth?

I don't know if that was directed towards me, but yeah, I plan on shaving it. I actually did for a while a few years back, but I grew it out for my sister's wedding last year because she asked me to. Then I realized it was starting to disappear. Figures.

My dad was a comb-over guy and I always swore that I would shave it as soon as I had lost, what I considered to be enough hair. About 7 years ago I shaved it all off and swore I would never grow it back, and I still haven't.


The act of shaving my head that first time was one of the most liberating things I have ever done. I think it is the equivalent of "outing" yourself for bald guys.

When I fist shaved it, I thought to myself, fuck it, who cares what anyone else thinks. I thought that there would be less women who found me attractive because I didn't have a full head of beautiful hair, but I didn't care.

The funny thing is more women are attracted to me without hair than they were when I did have hair. I think shaving your head demonstrates a sense of confidence that women find attractive.

Plus, you showers are quicker and there are no shampoos, conditioners or haircuts to pay for.

By far, it was one of the best things I have ever done.


And on a side note, I can't even tell you how many times attractive women have approached me in a bar and asked if they could rub my head.
