After havng this flu since the middle of August, I finally went to see the doctor today. One of the reasons I postponed it until now is that usually doctors will do nothing more than check my lungs and heart and say "rest, keep warm, eat garlic and honey, pay 200:- on your way out!", and I can get the same advice from my mum for free.
Turns out times have changed things, and now doctors have better ways to make money. He prescribes 4 medicines for me, for the low price of 700+ SKR... TWO of them are inhalers. Apparently, I have asthmatic symptoms.

I'm glad you finally went. Apparently it is more serious than you thought. I hope these make you feel better fast. It was worth the 700 whatevers if it makes you better.

Fully endorse what Ted said, better to see the Doc, sometimes they even get it right.

Wish you better.

I also agree with the others. It is better to get treatment now and prevent whatever you nave from becoming a serious, perhaps chronic condition.

Get well!

I'm gonna keep the inhalers after I'm well. Whenever I run into one of those egoistic morons who stand outside the entrance to a mall blowing their poison over asthmatics who have no other way of entering the mall than that entrance; and then I'm gonna make this big scene where I fake an attack and wheeze into my inhaler...

Get a friend to bring a camera, that'd be funny as hell.

Feeling better already. Still coughing my intestines out, but now I can breathe properly. :nana:

OK, now I get it - and that joke isn't half as nasty as the things I cough up.

See? I can be gross, too!

I feel your pain.

I sprained my ankle two months ago and for a 15 minute visit, the hospital charged me 1000+ USD just to tell me nothing was broken. Nevermind that I'm fairly certain I tore a ligament and still have pain.

Health is Expensive

You think health is expensive, try being sick.
Get well Svenskaflicka (see, I'm still being polite). Doesn't seem to be doing much good, still can't get rid of that damn virginity.

You paid for it Lucky, you have every right to enjoy it as long as you can.

Not half as gross as I was going to be with my question.
