I search for a replacement, of course. And of course it would be great (for me for sure; not for you!) if the same had happened to you as well, dear woman who is looking too. If in fact we met for an email exchange, and we’d discover we resonate strongly with one another, my god, how much added quality of life that could lead to! For both of us, I mean.
My profile gives you some hints about what I aim to “give away to you”. And giving these things away adds pleasures to my life, so I don’t think of it as an act of giving only. But of course you need to see this my way too, for it to work out. If you won’t we can never become soulmates in a genuine sense.
Now in case you read my profile already, you might ask: which two aspects is this fellow talking about, I can see only one? Smartly observed, I’d say. Because my second aspect is buried deep inside. When I mentioned intellectual intercouse between the two of us, I have had in mind sharing also between us, what might be called liberal, perhaps progressive and civilized values. Values very much under attack lately. With a “faint light” on the “other side of the tunnel” coming into view only recently.
Just to make sure you do not misunderstand me: I do not aim to “talk politics” every time we exchange an email, but if I knew you shared most of my values, our "soulmate-ship" will rest on a firmer foundation. And in a sense I am hoping now that you feel the same way about this. In addition to you loving my profile, I mean.
