I decided to cross off some of the honey-do list today ( as oppossed to sitting at the computer ),,, just thinking that it would be a nice surprise,,, ya know?
Was outside this morning cutting down a six foot tall 75 foot long privit hedge that has been on THE list for nearly two years,,, chain saw is roaring along, sharpened to the max,,, I'm making some great progress I tell ya, the weather was just perfect for doing this, my mind was focused on the task,,,
Then,,,
out've no where at all I'm being over run by those nasty assed black hornets that build the hanging paper nests. Got 8 stings,, the first was slap dab on the tip of my nose,,, the last was inside my left ear,,,
Those little fuckers are ruthless!!!!!!!
All because their nest is on the ground and split apart.
Went by the clinic and got two shots to add to my misery level.
Sheesh!!!!! I'll never hear the end of this one.
It is actually rather funny though,,,
I have a little treat planned for the survivors later this evening,,, after they are calmed down a bit and more relaxed while they are partying and savoring the thrill of victory.
I think a pint of gas in a 5 gallon bucket planted upside down over the nest will do just fine.
The hell with getting even,,, get ahead
