Having a male character becoming overly excited

So the setting is this. a couple is out in public and a woman is watching them. She is attracted to both the husband and wife. She's visiting and knows no one, so she decides to take a risk and approach the attractive couple.

they hit it off.

All three end up in bed, and its very erotic and passionate...clothes flying off, kissing, touching this and that. the husband starts to make love to his wife, while their hot friend is watching only the husband doesn't last long.

The reason why I want this in my story, is now the women can explore each other while the husband sits back and watches. What I'm worried about is how readers will react when a guy is quick?

Jen, I think you worry a little too much about what readers will think of every detail. What you laid out sounds fine, and probably pretty realistic. I'd imagine after a little recovery time, the guy will last longer. But honestly -- don't get hung up on whether readers will get glad/mad/sad about one aspect of your scene or story. It's your story, so if you want the guy to finish quickly, write it that way.

LOL! Dudette, if the women make out, readers (predominately male) will be fine and dandy. That's the frosting on the cupcake to such readers; who cares if the guy shot his load and now has to sit back and watch?

But if he's going to remain unable to join the ladies, you might consider putting this story in the voyeur category just to be certain readers will really enjoy it
