Along the lines of AnelizeDarkEyes question about being recognized as a dom/me or sub in public;

Have you met anyone recently that you have recognized as being either a Dom/me or sub?


We were recently shopping for a slave bracelet (although we did not identify it as such) for my husband and the saleswoman in the jewelry store knew he was a sub and indicated to us that she was a Domme.

You ask a very interesting question. My answer is that I never look. I do not concern myself with looking for others.

Oh hey! I just asked a similar question on Anelize's thread, before I saw yours. Sorry!

But no, I don't think I ever have. Sometimes when I meet couples, I can guess which one is more in control, but I wouldn't necessarily say that it qualifies.

Your attitude makes me smile Ebony. I don't publicize my lifestyle, nor do I generally hide it. I wasn't looking, I just found it interesting that she indicated was a Domme. Aside from play parties I have never met anyone else who I could say with a fair amount of certainty was a kindred spirit. It was an interesting encounter and I just wondered if it has happened to others.

I think that I just have other avenues of finding kindred spirits. As for submissives, they seek Me out, not vice versa.

I was at the grocery store, looking like a soccer mom. I think it was the khakis. I was in line to check out and noticed the cashier was new. He was a pretty young man. When it was my turn, he asked how I was, because they always do. I said fine and looked over my sunglasses at him and asked how he was. He looked into my eyes and blushed down to the roots of his hair. I have made a point of staying out of his check out lane ever since. I try to keep My private life private.

Maybe I should stop using the Mistress voice while shopping.

I use it at work also, Ebony.

I just try not to use it while out running errands. Although, it does work well on waiters.
