Today I learned that I should no longer allow my dog to skid into me when he stops. He's nearly 100 lbs.

What did you learn today? :D

I've learned that I can't take someone seriously when they're yelling at me whilst clad only in their underwear. :D

HAHA yeah I don't think I could keep a straight face. My mother in law was telling me this story about one of her kids :

She keeps her bedroom door open when she's in there, and you have to walk toward it when you leave the bathroom. Her older son used to get out of the shower and walk back down the hall with only a towel held out in front of him, but simultaneously twist his hips as he walked past so that his lil man would make slapping sounds on his legs and make his mother yell at him. He loved to get a rise out of her.

Fast forward like a decade, and new house and little brother has heard this story of big brother so many times he finally thought it would be funny to give it a try. Except, in the new house, there's a mirror angled from the hallway to her bedroom. He thought he was being so clever, and she was like,
"you know theres a mirror there right? I can still see you." :D:rolleyes::D

I learned I have zero chill with people who defend rapists. I assumed I didn't but today confirmed it.

No! You can't teach an old broad a new trick!

You're never too old to learn new stuff! For instance, did you know that sometimes the sun and moisture in the air create a phenomenon called a "Sun Dog"? They usually only appear when the sun is close the horizon, and are always level with the sun. They create two perfectly spaced spots of refracted light, and color. :)

Be patient slow down don't push always learning and I know but sometimes don't practice it .. shamefully

I agree with you. I was just too lazy to try to think of what I might have learned today.

Yes I've heard of a sundog!:)

Not so far. Anyone want to educate me on anything? Share a useless fact with me?

Did you know it was also one of the most responded to causes, in terms of donations? I was doing work experience in a charity at the time, and the cause was so overwhelmed with support, that donors started being directed to other charities!

How to make functional and useful macros (like starting a new scene or chapter) for writing a book in word.

I’m full of useless facts! How about the phrase “blood is thicker than water”? Most people say it when they are trying to say that family bonds will always be stronger than other relationships. What most people don’t know, is that the phrase has been shortened and has taken on new meaning. Originally, the phrase was something more like “the blood of the brotherhood is thicker than the water of the womb.”

:)

Today I learned that yes, people WILL stare if you dance in your car on the highway in the morning. Like, a lot.
