I also find Lit to be exacerbating... no not masturbating, but t-total frustrating to the point that it SUCKS... not sure if I have my expectations adjusted to understand the complete and irrational behavior sometimes exhibited here... just need to relax and let it ride I guess...

No...I don't invest that much of myself that what happens here really bothers me to that extent...I'm an inveterate observer...probably something to do with my profession...when it bores me, I drift away then engage with it again when I have an idle moment and someone says something that interests me...don't get caught up in the drama...

Not a full, organised party, no. If we are just at home on New Years Eve we often send out a general heads up that our house is open, we usually get 5-6 people do drop-ins. One year no-one came. That's the closest to answering yes haha.

When I was in high school we used to have parties in the back acreage of a guy whose family earned their money leasing out their land to a sod company. 40 acres of grass. One night I was dared to take my turbo'd Supra out back, and I ended up doing football field sized doughnuts with a few people on the hood & roof. Think it was somewhere in the neighbourhood of $1k of damage.

Hey it was the son of the ex-farmer/landowner that dared me. Progression of a beer fueled "discussion" on the practicality of a Japanese sports car vs a Ford pickup.

That I ended up with half a dozen topless highschool girls as passengers draped over my car as I tore up an acre of sod just made it better...
Makes perfect sense.
I hooked up once with a girl I briefly lived with senior year of highschool. She was surprised I wasn't married with 2.5 kids yet. She still could make me laugh because she was coaching a hipster panhandler how to sing Dennis Leary's "Asshole" with a 5gal bucket & ukelele. Ofcourse this happened outside a liquor store.
We had a fun night, but we don't fit now any better we did then.

To their face even. Takes a couple of years, but hey almost always agree.
(It's not based on looks, mostly on how much they tweak my "Douche Canoie Meter".
