I am straight. mostly.

You have a point. It's probably around the same principle of you see this "supermodel" of a girl with this really ugly guy and you think "ew what does this girl who could have anybody want THAT?" You don't know everything

My last girlfriend was a big, plain woman. And I still love her to bits, and she still turns me on. She's in a permanent relationship now, with a lovely--and wealthy, as it happens-- woman, who loves her to bits and is utterly turned on by her.

What I've found, all things being equal, is that pretty is as it does-- the most beautiful woman I've ever been with was also the biggest pain in the arse. She was egotistic, insulting, and disruptive. I could only stay with her by ignoring her attitudes-- basically, treating her as a gorgeous object. What kind of relationship was that?

I figure, why question what's not an issue for me? I pretty much am comfortable with my tastes, and my orientation only occupies my mind when I'm asked to define it. If we're looking at the strictest definition, then I'm bi--I appreciate sex with men and women. If we want to get more complex, look at more than just sex, then I'd define myself as mostly straight; as much as I like women, they just don't give me that "special" feeling. I can't imagine falling in love or having a romantic relationship with one.
