the question is: Have you ever been in a BDSM club, or have been curious
about checking one out? If you have been, any experiences that you

I will say this......I was in a club in NYC back in early July......just observing
what was going on....but more on that later

OK, ok... it might be interesting to walk in and check it out... but I think most clubs are very hard core... which wouldn't hold my interest for long.

But I'll say that there are many elements of bdsm and/or D/s that can easily find their way into the vanilla sex home. Spanking, being cuffed or tied to something and being ravaged... heck, I wouldn't complain!

I think it's important to be aware that not everyone involved in these lifestyles are into pain. There are different degrees of involvement in these areas, depending on the participants wants or needs.

Lit can open your eyes... a lot sometimes.

My BDSM club experience

Yes, you've heard it folks!

In early July........got to go into my very first BDSM club
in NYC.......of course I observed all that was going on,
which is perfectly acceptable. No.....no sexual intercourse
goes on there to my knowledge....but acts such as
spanking, being tied up, and god only knows what else
were going on. The club seemed to be a friendly
environment.........even had their own little "cafe" which
does not serve alcohol......strictly booze free.......

Have been and will go back as often as I can. My "pet" and I have often frequented the "sanctuary" here in Atlanta. We have attended three major events hosted by different groups from North Carloina, Georgia and one from Florida. Quite entertaining and enlightening even with my twenty-five years as a Dom.

Rules are stricktly enforced, actual penetration is rare, role play is fantastic. Techniques on use of floggers, hot wax, whips, rope work (a true art in its own right), even saw an "electrician" work his sub into a state of frenzy and constant "O" with the infamous purple wand". I have been to several. I used to make equipment for some of the higher end private places here in town (I’m too busy with other things now). When I have gone to these places, I’ve just been a spectator. S&M’s not really my bag, but you can meet interesting people at those clubs sometimes. There are all sorts of social clubs around. BD/SM, Jax, Swinger, orgy, gloryhole, Etc. They generally keep a low profile. Unless you are in the right clique, you would never know that they are there. If you think that because you live in a small town that they are not near you, you might be surprised. All sorts of things exist in all sorts of places. One of the few clubs that I actually belong to is in a small town about 45 minutes outside of Albany. I know of clubs in many places. Each has a different flavor. Each caters to a slightly different crowd. I have no fear of exploring them all. I have never found a situation where I felt truly threatened. If anyone needs a bodyguard or a referral, let me know.

I've been into a couple, not as a participant more as an observer/safety net whatever. It is a matter of knowing someone who is in the lifestyle, in order to get into the clubs most times. For the most part, they are really no different than your regular clubs.
