Been there, done that. In my self-bondage days it always bothered me that I had to have an escape option under my own control. After some time, I tried time-locking to address that, but even then: 1) I knew that I'd be released when the timer expired and I could not set it to an unknown length; and 2) I knew that I had an emergency option in case I really needed to get out before it expired. Actually, I used that escape once for no good reason: I knew from outside info (a church bell) that the time was almost over, but I misjudged the last few minutes that seemed to last forever. As I feared that the clock had broken, I smashed and forced open the box holding the keys, only to discover later on that I should have waited just 3 more minutes. I was so disappointed – even though the bondage itself had been great.

The first time under human control was wonderful. Naked and in chains for several days. No self-escape options. None. Boredom was not an issue, as there were plenty of thoughts and some punishments to enjoy, but it would have been accepted as part of the game. The only negative aspect was that I knew how many days it would be, while I was also able to (roughly) estimate the hours and count the days, based on outside noises and the rhythm of being given food.

Maybe the boredom is bypassed because of the unpredictability. Like when I dog is left home while it's human goes out, then when the human finally returns the dog get's a huge rush of excitement. So in that way, it's kind of like mind fucking your slave. You chain them in the closet or something, ignore them all day, and when you decide it would be fun to go use them or punish them you return and they become filled with excitement.

The only way I would enjoy something like that is if it was only for a day and for safety reasons I wouldn't want to be left chained up alone in case there was an emergency. But being chained up in the closet and unable to do anything except listen could be really fun. Maybe she invites a friend over for dinner and a movie, then they fuck on the bed and I get to hear her moans while she's being fucked.
