I have asserted that the elites in the Canadian government-class and political class favor homosexuals as a class and despise Christian conservatives. This is not so startling - the same could be said of he AH as a "class."
asserted, yes. given reasons or evidence, no. rox has a theory of what goes on in others' minds. however it's more of the nature of a speculation and attempted insult.
it's irrelevant to the argument of course.
it's a bit like beginning a discussion of the German law with the assertion that the German government hates nazis. utterly irrelevant.
of course the US [and Canadian] far right complaint, from falwell, amicus, and now roxanne, that gays are privileged and xian conservatives persecuted is pure fantasy. genuinely dangerous, in that the truly persecuted folks continue to be so, and the persecutors use these big lies to cloak their work, Goebbels-style.
huckleberry in on a roll. he and his ilk, unfortunately, are thriving. they are not the least 'endangered,' even in Canada.
