I would love to meet some of the Lit people if the chance ever came up. I have found most of the people here to be intelligent, funny, and very open minded.

I agree. Haven't met anyone IRL yet - hope Lukky's Road Trip to Canada comes off - that could be hilariuos! He's actively signing up members of the female gender to accompany him, so Silver - check it out!

I haven't met anyone from Lit in person as of yet. But, I have it planned to meet a couple of people I am close to here this year sometime.
Most of the people I talk to here and in PM's, email and chat I would like to meet one day given the chance. There's a few that I would just rather keep as an online friendship. I have talked to quite a few Lit members on the phone though.

I have met with 4 people from lit...one from lit chat...and 3 from the BB. Two of those that I met, I had not known through an online relationship ahead of time. One of those, Juspar Emvan, has become a very dear friend of mine. It was fun getting to know a "name" from the BB through a personal relationship rather than thru an online one. I think that is the reason why we became such good friends. We have been brutally honest with each other since our first lunch and now that he lives about 10 minutes from me...I think we are due to meet for coffee!

That's great. And no horror stories! I guess the key is, to get to know them as well as possible beforehand.

I actually just found out that someone here on Lit goes to the same school as me and lives about a couple football fields away, we haven't met yet but I am sure we will soon. I just dont want her telling everybody my dirty little secret of where I hang out at night

Yes, I have met one person and had a great time.

Yes, he was much as I would have expected him to be.

In terms of long term relationships, these things develop for me OFF line.

I have not met anyone from Lit yet. There are quite a few of us on here from Connecticut and the state is pretty small, so odds are I will meet one of them at one point.
