Has anyone attended and/or hosted a "Jack n' Jill"
party?

Just curious because there is an ongoing thread over
on the Personals for a party where I live, and the one
who started the thread originally seems to have
disappeared........and the consensus so far seems
to be more guys than girls wanting to attend.

Is the more guys than girls ratio a normal thing, or
would it be wise to try to have an equal number?

Any answers and other suggestions, etc. would be
greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Yes I do.. .And thank you... I had always heard of them as circle jerks... There is a clup or clups in the states... and they are known by thier cities... Like: San Francisco Jacks, or Philidelphia Jacks... Where men get together to do that... I heard about it on the Bob and Tom Show one morning.... No personal experience... I probably wouldn't mind if there were women there... but not only guys... And my understanding is that is what the Jacks are...

Hey Tigerjen--Unfortunately, my answer is also 'no.' Someone tried to organize one in this area, and apparently no one showed up. I'm almost thinking that this concept is an urban legend--'circle jerks' are much more common and openly discussed.

IMHO, 'Jack 'n' Jill' parties are probably fairly spontaneous occurrences among folks who already know each other...I've never heard of one organized through Lit that actually happened.

Good to hear your side..........but what is really interesting
is the fact over on the personals forum, there are not just one,
but *several* threads dedicated to getting J & J parties
organized in different areas.......pretty funny eh?

In a way, I agree somewhat that these parties take place
where the people know each other already..........but who knows?

I think that you have a convergence of barriers--first, folks chicken out at the prospect of meeting strangers face-to-face (or in this case, showing more than your face); second, there's a risk factor (what if it turns out you see someone you know?); third, there are NEVER more than one or two 'Jills' for every ten 'Jacks,' and the Jills really have no incentive to join the party (unless they are true exhibitionists), and fourth, there always seems to be the unspoken expectation that the jackin' and jillin' off will lead to something further...
