Phosphlipids are amphipathic molecules, meaning that they will not mix with water, just float on top of the water or coalesce into a small area.

Well, I just ordered everything I need to make my own salt scrubs. I'm excited!

I don't think I'll actually save much money doing it myself though. I suppose you'd have to order in bulk to do that. But I think these would make really nice gifts.

Perfect gifts, indeed!
You can find old jars and bottles at fleamarkets, consignments shops, etc.
Tie a ribbon around the container, add a label or gifttag, or slip a sprig of lavender into the ribbon. There's so many things you can do to make it a lovely gift.
I know I'd enjoy it!
