Has anybody ever been internet stalked?
Do you beleive in internet stalking ?
I am being internet stalked at the moment , well coming out of it finally I hope. I chat on a chat site on net , and this person , male or female , I do not know , but suspect male , started to firstly follow me around , noticing same id in rooms at same time as myself , thought i was being paranoid , until i asked a friend to follow me , this other person was definately "watching" me ...got worse , "he" started to abuse me in rooms , sending me private messages which were disgusting , threatening and abusive , then it started to get worse , cloning my name on net , talking as me on the voice chat , which then I knew was male unless he had voice changer on , he finally hacked my emails and pasted them in a chat room , and the final straw was when he said he wanted me "dead" ....
In my emails of that particular account I did have personal information , which now I am worried about ....
I contacted cyber angels about this , but very relunctant to bring a case against "him" , as he has personal info about me now , but I ended up changing ids on this particular site and email addressess, a few people I chat to on here , Lit , know me from that site , and know the anguish I have been through due to this stalker .
Internet stalking is an offence , in most major countries now ...

I know and realise internet stalking is totally different to "real" life stalking but it is still very upsetting being "violated " on line ...
