Aw...Did I strike a nerve?Haley is no Democrat and never has been anything like one, but that's irrelevant to what I said anyway.
And we wonder why Blacks vote 90% Democratic...

Nope. You just once again put on display what an ass you are for everyone here to see.Aw...Did I strike a nerve?
Telephonic COVID-24 via the phonecon with Trump to check in on how Donald was after his last brief, open-air speech.![]()
Now coming from you that is hilarious!Nope. You just once again put on display what an ass you are for everyone here to see.
i don't think President Biden is stepping down but if he decides to then Harris would definitely be the easiest transition financially and, importantly, 'face/name-recognition' wise with the voters.I could vote for Harris/Witmer
The question is can the get the votes in places like the WOW counties, and can they carry black women to the level that Biden has?
Harris would be the easiest transition for the campaign machine at this point in time.
At this point, I do not think Biden should step down either.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Friday said she has not seen a “bulletproof” case to support the notion that Joe Biden should drop out of the 2024 presidential race, warning that many of those calling on him to end his reelection bid are not interested in having Vice President Kamala Harris replace him on the ticket.
“I have not seen the the fully laid-out, bulletproof data case,” she said.
and this lack of consensus is the problem and also a point i made before about others not wanting to see VP Harris heading the ticket (for whatever reasons)Ocasio-Cortez noted that there is so far no consensus on an alternative to Biden, adding that many people who have called for his exit are not looking to Harris to take over.
“A huge amount of the donor class, and a huge amount of these elites, and a huge amount of these folks in these rooms that I see that are pushing for President Biden to not be the nominee also are not interested in seeing the vice president being the nominee,” she said.
in otherwords, a shitshow whose prospects delight the republicans and spells disaster come NovemberThe New York Democrat added that several legal issues could arise if Biden steps down. She said it is imperative for people to consider the stakes of the upcoming election, with ballot deadlines looming and potential GOP legal challenges that could end up before the U.S. Supreme Court, which has a conservative majority.
AOC is hitting the spot with her comments, i believe:

And "republicans" are LAUGHING at the displayed lack of courage and loyalty in support of a GOOD, man after ONE bad DEBATE performance from "some people" on the Democratic side, while those same "republicans" show unwavering "courage" and sycophantic loyalty to a BAD "man" after MANY bad performances and MANY legally and morally disqualifying acs.
Just check out some of BabyBoomer50’s threads and posts. That POS is loving the bed-wetting and lack of loyalty displayed by "some people" on the Democratic side.

SAD!!!

Gloating is his thing. Doesn't say much for him as a person. But he doesn't deny it and he seems to even bask/wallow in it.
My theory is BabyBoomer (and many other people) follows politics like a sport. He has his “team” and it can do no wrong. The opposing “team” must be defeated.
He thinks of the Democratic Party in the same way a Yankees fan thinks about the Red Sox. It’s a very simpleminded dislike for the other team. The most rabid fans (fanatics) truly hate rival teams, and they become literally enraged when their team fails, demanding the manager be fired and players replaced.
The motivation is feeling like part of the team, even though you’re just an unknown fan in the stands.

He posted a link to an AOC commentary earlier. It's worth listening to. Even given the poster.
I had already seen it - and I had mixed feelings after watching it:
AOC was refreshingly open about certain "donor class" members of congress (one flank) who are damaging President Biden with their actions while hiding behind the media, but she was disappointingly evasive about the damage the left wing (another flank) is doing to President Biden. (AOC did HINT at the heat she was taking from some on the left who viewed her as a sellout for opposing an open convention.)
President Biden is definitely fighting a difficult war on multiple fronts, (which history tells us is usually untenable / un-winnable) but America fought in Europe, in the Pacific, and at home during WWII, and American not only won, but we came out of it stronger than ever - and so can President Biden if enough of us stand united.
Side note:
Imagine if the Allie’s had interrupted the war effort midstream and upset all the carefully planned strategies with no solid strategies to replace them.

Ironically if there is anyone that can win this battle it is Joe Biden. Even at 81. Maybe even, especially at 81.
Chill, Arphy. It's humor. Tinfoil, as the movies say, is for aliens, not the ones we need to be afraid of. It's the guy with the orange makeup and asleep at his convention—the one intent on destruction on day one. Your guy!Your tinfoil is wrapped too tight.
Nobody "stole" from Biden, Francis. Can stealing from the productive to benefit the unproductive ever be sustainable? The answer is no.
^^^Another hysterical statement from bizarro world."Harris and Whitmer have a stronger appeal to younger voters."
Yes, they have strong appeal to younger persons.
So does the rapist in a van parked by the playground who says,
"hey kids, want some free candy?"
I'm sure you can, Francis [pats on head].I can post a multitude of quotes of democrats promising the infants to steal from the productive to give to the worthless
I admit that I am bored with you. Then you admit I am correct.
