Speaking of Elton, he's coming to perform at UMass. When my friend told me I was pretty happy, of course until I learned that students can't get discounted tickets for it, which means the tickets are going to be extremely expensive. I have to REALLY love a performer to spend full price while I'm in college. I'm a stingy college kid.

I watched a fly-on-the-wall programme about him on television, he had cameras following him around Osbourne style... I have hated the man since seeing it... he came across as an arrogant and conceited idiot...

He's probably put a stop to your student tickets... hehe.

He probably would kind of agree with you in that he has his bad moods at times.

I've been a HUGE fan of his since I was 12--that's 30 years he's been my favorite musician. During all those years, I have NEVER heard anyone say a bad thing about Elton. People generally love him. Even his friends are well liked--Sting, Paul McCartney, Ringo, Leanne Rymes, Reba McIntyre (sp?).

He's good people and so are his friends, judging by all the news I've heard in public in the last 3 decades.

I adore him.

You guys do know he's not gay, right? He's just English. Some people get thrown off by that.
