I appreciate the birthday wishes. The day has been good. I just came back from dinner with family at a local Texas BBQ rib joint. Yes... I got to pick the restaurant. The place is called "Rib Tickler" (no.. not the comdom called Ribbed Tickler) I have consumed my red meat quota for the month.

My wife said she gave up trying to find a birthday present for me, so she got me "gift cards" at Lowes and Home Depot. (I'm sure tomorrow she'll give me the list of things she wants me to buy with the cards. )

Mensa, I think birthdays in Texas are no bigger than anywhere else..... 24 hours, last I checked. And our "egos" are kept under control by our Canadian neighbors. I mean what Texan could feel egotistically arrogant on the same board with a humble Canadian who calls himself "Mensa"?
