Happy Birthday Oggbashan!

Happy Birthday.

Some of your stories are among the first I ever read on Lit, some time before I ever joined. And no, they are NOT what got me to write and post here. No indeed, what inspired me to write here were other stories that were not nearly so well done as yours, those other stories made me realize that if Lit took those other stories they might take mine.

Yes, indeed!

Having actually met Ogg in person, I'm delighted to add my good wishes here, to one of nature's gentlemen.

Long may your pen (or keyboard, really) continue to entertain us.

Alex

A most happy birthday wish for one of the best contributors on this site, thank you for being you!

Thank you for the good wishes. I'm here for a few minutes drinking a mug of coffee in between activities, and trying to eat birthday biscuits made by my older granddaughter and my grandson.

The biscuits spell 'grandad' but they are better to look at than to eat. I have to have eaten some before I see the grandchildren next, so I'm dunking them in my coffee to reduce the texture from house brick to edible.

Maybe next year they'll produce a softer cake...

Now, that's a grandpa. ;)

Have fun, old chap.

Sounds like old style ship's biscuits. Happy B'Day, Ogg

Happy Birthday!

Seems like you're at the age where no one can really pin anything on you! Not a bad thing at all, eh?

Happy birthday, Ogg. A pint of Spitfire, perhaps? :)

I would, but I'm driving around town today doing errands, and tomorrow is a family lunch with my wife's relations. To get there and back I have to use the M25 on a Bank Holiday weekend.

For the M25 I need to be sober, calm, collected and tolerant of all the other idiots.

I'm one of the idiots for agreeing to the event during a Bank Holiday weekend.

Sunday would be a good day to have some Shepherd Neame.
