Wow, thanks SG. That is the sweetest compliment I have ever received from anyone here. I value so many here but have never considered myself to be a valued member. You've made my day!

And Cate, again thank you so much. It was, however, pointed out to me that my comment "better late than never" didn't come out as I intended. I am always late in getting in on the birthday wishes around here but even belated my wishes are always sincere. I meant that it was OK, I didn't mind the belated wishes and they are and were truly appreciated.

I hope you took it the way I intended. This is so why I am a much better LURKER than POSTER.

And yes it has been a wonderful weekend. The boys, one wife and girlfriends all took time out of their schedules to take me out to eat. They let hubby come too. The best part was the oldest paid for us all. How sweet it is to have one raised and finally get some kind of return on our investment (or maybe I should say payment back on the loan). LOL

Thank you Eilan. I've missed you lately, but then I understand with that bunch that picks on you all the time. :nana:

en, I took it just as you intended. Never thought otherwise.

I'm glad to hear about the dinner and the payment plan; so that might be installment #1 of 43283493$@#%&$&^ maybe? It must make you proud too. After all the goal is to raise independent and well functioning adults. Sure does take a long time! I remember years ago when we were all gathered for some reason or another (might have been because it was a Tuesday, who knows) my mother said "I love you all but not a darn one of you turned out the way I planned."

Hysteria insued. Which is our norm and not all bad as we pointed out to the little woman. She then proceeded to point out some of our funnier moments. She always held her own among us, but she knew when to slip away and not admit to knowing even one of us. Smart and funny.

btw, you are a far better poster - well, we're far better off that you are a poster not a lurker. :rose:

A birthday  from the good little witch.

And thanks to you Glynndah. I didn't mean to leave you out.

I was so distraught over being told I had been rude to Cate that I overlooked your post.

By the way Glynndah, those little encouraging PM's always seem to come at such a good time. Thanks. :rose:

Yes Cate, it is certainly was rewarding to have him pay for once. He actually slipped away for a moment to supposedly go wash his hands. He must have made arrangements then because our waitress never even brought the bill over to our table. My husband kept saying we couldn't leave yet because he didn't have the bill. Finally my daughter-in-law made my son let us in on it or we might still be sitting there waiting.

He was my one and only who always kept track of those times he drove his car to pick me up somewhere and then would let me know later how much I owed him for the gas. (which often times my credit/debit card was used to fill up his tank).

One down and ??? to go.

Thanks Silverwhisper. I prefer my trout on a plate and preferably without the poor little guy staring up at my knife and fork.

Quoll, how did you know chocolate was my favorite!

I must say though, if Eilan can get all those dancing nanas, surely I could have dancing candles! I love the shape, but can you put some swirls to those curls??? :p

Hmm that's a curly one  let me sleep on it (it's my bedtime) and I'll see what I can come up with.

You are amazing!

I don't know how you do it Quoll. I love it!

The candle count is right on too. :D

Thanks for making my day. Look out Ed and BG. The three of us are just going to have to fight it out, but first Ed, get rid of that trout. It is time. :p

Thanks again Quoll. It is a perfect ending to a very long day. I'm am going to start my 5 hour pattern a little early tonight. ;)
