Happy - and interesting - 2024!!

A big thank you to all the folk who have put up some really thought-provoking threads this last year. I know that I, for one, have preyed avidly on SI as juicy meat for my scribblings over that time and I hope I've put a thought or two into the heads of others, as well.

Let's hope we can brainstorm a few more good ones in 2024. Best wishes to everyone.

I quite agree. Batting around ideas with like-minded writers is a lot of fun, and I'm grateful to everyone involved. Even if it's just a scene or two, many of the ideas we discuss inspire my version of them that end up in my stories. It's a great way to create. Thanks to everyone who contributes here and I'm looking forward to another year of collaboration. Happy New Year.

Another "hear, hear"! I only joined this year but hope I'm allowed to add my voice to the sentiment. I've often found this forum inspirational and I now have quite a few pieces written up and based on the generous sharing of ideas and "thinking out loud" which happens here.

The same here. I know my personality as such can be challenging at times, but it would be a boring world if we all agreed on everything. But I agree on everything said on this thread starter.

It has been a good year, and I look forward to 2024.

In fact, in thinking some yesterday, I envision taking an erotic story I wrote a few years ago, and making it into the third novel of a trilogy of a Fem Fetale book I am working on now. It say this as encouragement. Writing good erotica is an extremely challenging type of writing to do. I started off writing erotica for Penthouse back in the 1990's and it has led to published novels today. It is something anyone can do, not just me.

Keep writing, you never know where it might lead!

My resolution this time is to come up at some time during the year with a stunning, jaw dropping idea which will have you all grovelling at my feet in admiration and an endless queue of porn producers waving cheque books at me...
