Hamster problems how....?

Just a quick note to those saying it's not a hamster. There are many instances of a pet hamster escaping into another house. If SBA lives in a terraced house or a flat it's really easy for a small animal to creep through spaces.

judging by the many protests at the glue strips, a cat might not be a popular suggestion!!!

Guys i don't know how to break this news, but first of all if it makes things right"it was not a hamster rather a dirty black discusting mouse".
When some disputed theuse of a glue pad,i swear i removed it but since could not fold it back againe due to the part in the middle to stop the two sheets of glue not to glue back together was missing,i decided to leave it open and put it on my dressing table, not knowing it can climb up polished wood.
When i returned tonight,i saw this mouse all glued up and i removed it from the dressing table in my room and placed it on the floor in my pantry room and took a picture of it to show you,i don't know if this site allowes me to post pictures,if it does then i will after writing this post.
I feel sorry for it and just placed it in my bin out side for the bin men to take it away wednesday morning.
I am sorry!
The live cage did not arrive as promissed tonight.

Well, let's hope this thread can now sink off the page. I'm glad you got rid of your vermin problem. Every time I saw "hamster problem" on the board I was worried that a whole other area was going to be opened up. I think it was covered under "true stories from the ER".

Damn you have just used the mineral oil to free the rodent like I suggested...
I can see its still alive but in shock
*shrugs
Anyway...I'm hungry :D

Gee, thanks. Now I'm thinking about the South Park episode featuring Lemmiwinks the hamster and his "journey" through Mr. Slave! :D

If it turned out to be a hamster i would have freed it! But a disease carrying mouse? free it and make someone else's life a nightmare!
It was in shock, and when ever i went close to pick the board up,it just made a lot of stupid mice noise!
This glue pad idea is fantastic don't you think?
Another house could have had babies or elderly people in,and to risk the health of those age groups would have been far worse than this glued mouse.
He is gone now and let the mice god rest it's sole!
I think i was very brave to have ended this !
