You're welcome and thank you. I figured everyone would be tired of the av I've had up in my absence. That's the longest I've ever used the same av, and it will probably never been seen again. Time for new pics, I think.

Lizzie, I strongly suggest you withdraw from the Halloween hopscotch contest this year. Compete in something more sedentary like the lizzard licking contest.

Apparently there has been another sweep overnight. My entry now has 50 votes and a score of 4.30. Probably no longer a contender for the coveted last place award.

I get so sick and tired of watching stories get screwed to the wall because ... they are stories that a particular author wrote.

There's an idea. Maybe author names shouldn't show up until the contest is over?

I don't think that would work too well because a lot of readers are fans of specific authors. That would work to the disadvantage of people in AH because most of us, I believe, make it a point to read each other's stuff and then read stories by others if we have time.

Some just get lowballed
some get intentionally trolled

someone on this thread blurted out how trolls could low ball a story and not have the nasty vote taken away and I believe the trolls were listening in to that conversation
