I've still got loads more views, votes and PC's than on a non-competition story. I can't believe there are so many entries though!

I don't think I ever had that many votes and reads before.

What do people think to the chapters thing? I did it last time, and I won't do it again, as it wasn't at all successful for me*L*

I start with reading one entry and if there's time enough I'll read others as well.
Not going to happen this time, I guess. LOL

As for chapters. I always feel a bit cheated, because it is almost forcing you to read the other chapters too. *shrug* Just my 2 cts.
To me it's different from entering several separate stories.

Good morning, All. I'm still drinking my morning coffee. Rumps, my main story, "The Last Piece of Ass", stands at 4.14 with fifty votes. It hasn't moved much for a few days and nefver was more that about 4.20. My other story, I don't consider a serious entry.

I wonder about being around a while though. I've heard of begging for votes... when I was new I had to do it. Now... a story of mine comes up and I've got at least 50 votes before I even know it's posted... not always the votes I want.. but still votes.

That happen to anyone else?

Over time, yes. But not to qualify for monthly winner.

On anal or some other categories, I tend to quickly get quite a few votes. On most categories, I don't. Recently, I posted a Mind control story and was amazed that it had over 100 votes, mostly not very good, in about two days. I don't know how that happened. My Toy/Masturbation stories tend to get votes fairly quickly. Right now, I have an Anal story contending for a monthly nomination and I might have an E/C story, once it gets posted.

I get very very very few votes in my niche writing I do.

The latest instalment of fan fic I have out there is at a grand total of 3 votes in like 4 months,

My 2 erotic horror stories have over 50 votes, the 1st one was the top in it's catagory when it was released 2 years ago, my mature story has the most votes of anything i have up with 121 in about 2 1/2 years.

I assume alot of people have more friends that actually read their stuff or write in more vote filled catagories.

My one anal story got 0ver 75,000 reads! Yet, the score is low. But it's ok. It was one of my first ever written -

I think my Halloween story is doing just ok. I do think there are a few AH regs that haven't read it - or if they did, they just didn't feel like leaving a PC, which makes me sad. But, that's life, yes?

Once a story has rolled off the New List, the number of views and votes slows WAY down. After the last sweep, I was down to 68 votes, and it's still holding there, just ONE measly vote short of a sublime 69.

Haven't got to yours yet Honey, I'll PC when I do, it is the only way to keep track.

Those figures under my sig show Hits, votes and feedback, haven't updated for the Halloween Story and when I do it will be over 1000 votes across fifteen stories in a year and a half.

Neon, that's an interesting stat. I have no idea what mine would be for thirty stories over three plus years.

I read the PC on your story and they were all highly complimentary, including mine. The story deserved it. I don't know how many votes you have total but, judging from the PC, you have to be a strong contender for first place, if you have as many as 25. You should have thay many votes because you have that many PC.
