I've tried most everything. Only thing that really works is IV demerol. Everything else just masks the pain.

I've never read you before alex, but I was very impressed. You have great command of the language and a lot of skill in story building. the sex wasn't really up my ally, but that only enhances how impressed I was with the work overall.

Thanks, I really appreciate the read. I don't tend to post in 'popular' catagories on 'popular' subjects so I figure halloween is my one chance to be all like 'look at wha I did' *giggle*

But yeah, the sex in it isn't appealing to me personally either Although some people evidently really like it. Demons, even dilute weak ones like Mark, just don't seem to make sensitive lovers

I'm not sure I accomplished what I wanted to with this story. I wanted to try stripped down, basic, non-flowery, almost a rough style of writing. And trying to have the normal neutral narator voice being much more connected with the main character, instead od some detached all seeing thing.

Its going to be a fun November seeing how Mark plays with others when I try writing a horror novel

No 'warm soft fuzzies' in that one man.
I liked it. Gritty, no real 'happy ending'.

vella.. I think mine is gonna be stuck in the middle.... 4.51 on the score with something like 123 votes... and a schelacking in the comments and feedback... damn I gotta stay away from romance!!!
