I have to say finishing your story with the neg comments is the #1 thing on my list for today. Unfortuantly baby nap time ended before I could read it all.

It takes courage to deviate from what people expect, and I respect that. I am looking forward to reading the whole thing.

It is too soon to judge what will happen to your story. I suspect an attack of trolls that might be swept tonight. Anonymous is often 'disgusted'. I wonder how some of them can restrain their disgust long enough to be on this site.

If nothing else, a break from your usual style can refresh your ideas when you get back to business as usual. What is life without a few risks?

Sorry, not you, Boxlicker - your "disgusted" PCer's, who are fools. But thank you for posting this. Otherwise I would have missed a perfectly wonderful little story. I loved it.

Shanglan, yours didn't hurt at all... <gulp> in fact, I was blushing quite profusely!

More than made up for the strange and infuriatingly inaccurate: "Allusion is nice, but Humbert isn't Lo's father. Try again" comment that "anonymous" left! Humbert married her mother... same difference (and actually same situation, did you not *read* the story?! grrr!)

and it's so funny how not many people will admit to reading the incest/taboo stories... but wow are they popular! <grin>

It's not as much as it might sound like, although it is a lot. During a period like now, with contest entries coming in thick and fast, no regular stories get posted. That was one of the reasons why I submitted one of my stories, to get in in faster.
