I'm certainly no threat to anyone for anything but I have lost 6 'point' (.06) in the last 6 votes. I not real sure of how to do the math but that's pretty much how it was explained to me.

Good Morning Black, by the way!!!

Hope you are well!

For what it's worth, I enjoyed the story Black. I don't remembered if I PC'd or not, so many stories over a span of time. I know I voted.

Hugo

Do you have a ton of anon PC's? I can't tell if any AH'ers have read it or not. A few have but most of my PC's and emails have been from the infamous anon?

Yes, you left a comment. I rvc'ed yours as well.

Ali,

Do you know anybody NOT from Holland writing Dutch stories? LOL

The cockneys of London might write stories about their dutch in Loving Wives and there are some countries that were Dutch colonies. I met this rubber planter on the way to Jakarta... but that's another story.

Oooh well if we're going to turn it into that kind of Dutch...
I could write a story about my first and only time with a guy from Rotterdam

Ahhh the good ole day :(

So what's the Og up to today?

Starting another story I have to finish before NaNoWriMo; clearing out a freezer to make room for daughter's food because her freezer's broken; preparing paperwork to be a witness for City Hall in a court case... the usual sort of day.

What are you doing?

The usual stuff semi cripples do:

Laundry
Dishes
Thinking I should be working on Ch 07
Being glad the one-bomber squadron has apparently passed to leave my feeble story alone.
Hoping I've at least read/voted/commented on all AH'ers Halloween stories. (I think so)
The usual. (except for the squadron. My other stories are so quiet, they've never noticed them.)

Hugo

Hugo -

Get moving on Chapter 7.

I've got to put out the recycling, load the dishwasher, load the washing machine and then go to bed to think up more plots for NaNoWriMo.

Back on thread topic - only one H left on five entries. I've appreciated the PCs and feedback but either the trolls have been busy or many people don't like my entries.

For me I guess it doesn't really matter, I'm no threat for either end of the spectrum, but I think the trolls have been busy. In 6 votes my 'score' went down 6 'points'.

You certainly left a comment on mine. Thank you.

Finally, I've read and voted on all the Ah'ers stories. I haven't had time to leave comments though......between work and school my time seems to fly away from me.

Hope everyone's stories are doing well. The troll attack on mine has stopped. Does everyone get trolled? My little story wasn't even worth trolling.

Much much luck to all. Oh... thanks to everyone who voted for me.

not really.....I will most likely be at work so it won't matter. If I by some chance have the night off then I'll throw together something.

I don't have to worry. There's no such thing as Halloween in the Netherlands.
Some folks are trying to import it together with Santa Claus, but it's not part of our culture.

I'm surprised to hear that about Santa Claus. I always thought the name came from "San Niclaus", the Dutch version of "Saint Nicholas", and was brought to America by Dutch settlers in New Amsterdam.

That's what I was trying to say with my Halloween essay - It may be Celtish, but not English except for very minor groups, and until it was re-imported from the US it wasn't a major event in English children's lives - Guy Fawkes was. The English festival of Guy Fawkes has been swamped by the commercialisation of Halloween.

However, my essay had major flaws that really need revision. I'll delete it after the contest ends.

Black Tulip's story is a much better evocation of Halloween.
