I think I lost a few votes yesterday, but I didn't check today. I'm trying not to obsessively check my votes/views every 10 minutes. Trying....

I'm just a few short of qualifying. But I'm sure I'll lose a couple in the sweeps. It's hard not to look, but with so many days till the contest is over, it will leave ya pulling your hair out if you don't get to work on something else

I started this thread to support other writers. I appreciate your support as well and I want to get reading the entries!!

The long story should be submitted tomorrow. The short one may be as well.

Unless my muses have other ideas. As they are demi-goddesses they are entitled to change their minds and who am I to argue?

I won't post the rules of the last place contest yet. I think all those who have entered this Halloween contest are winners of the real event for facing the trolls so bravely.

My essay is either liked or hated. Some of the feedback suggests that I should be in education. I suppose I was at some times in my career but I never saw myself as a teacher.

Best wishes to all those still writing. Keep the entries coming and make this the largest Halloween contest ever.

I just got caught up reading everyone's stories.
I think I may have posted comments on some of them
anonymously by mistake, but I did comment on all of them.

I thought all of them were very good, but I gotta say there
were a couple that really stood out.

This is my first contest, and I want to thank some of the 'seasoned veterans'
for their help, support & patience. It's also been a great way to 'meet' people
I hadn't known before this.
