How about a story about a lady that has a fling in a walk-in closet at a halloween party and later discovers that it was her son. she sees her sons costume the next morning and it smells of her purfume.

Try doing a search for just that. When I started a thread in Author's Hangout asking for cliches and overdone Halloween stories people told me "accidently fucking your relative in costume" was a big one. So, there should already be stories of this nature on Lit.

I agree Halloween generally is tough to keep fresh.
