Possibly starting a story thread with a dryad involved. And there's a quality about this drawing that I really like, though I can't define it. So this might be the basis for a dryad character.

Ever read two or three stories with the same very general theme and they all run together to the point you don't remember exactly how many distinct stories there were to begin with? I remember reading a story, set in a sort of Sinbad the Sailor genre, about a guy who discovered sisters who could put on and take off "swan suits", though I don't know if it was a gift or a curse, or how exactly the story ended. And I also remember an Irish story (I think) about a swan girl, or a goose girl, whose brothers had been turned into geese. Or swans. Something like that.
