I've worn boring white Hanes briefs for decades (I won't say how many). They're comfortable enough, but as I get older I'm noticing they don't keep everything in place all the time like they used to. I'm thinking of experimenting with a few pairs of boxer briefs to see if the "containment" issue is better. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Yes. That's why I switched to the poly/spandex briefs in my previous posts. They really support and are very comfy. :)
 
Dang Soft boxer briefs by Duluth Trading company. They are also a little expensive, but they feel sooo good. And I also only wear black.

I wore cotton briefs all my life until just recently. I now wear stretchy briefs that are 90% polyester and 10% spandex. I love 'em! They're real smooth and hold everything snugly, but you don't even realize you have them on. I wear Ralph Lauren Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein. It seems that only designer brands make them. They're expensive, but well worth it! I strongly recommend them. :)

Boxer briefs. Mostly Duluth Trading Buck Naked but have a couple of pair by Shinesty. Not cheap but the feel is great.

I hear ya. I like support. I hated boxers! My penis goes down one leg and my balls the other.

I can see that being a potential embarrassing problem. I'm not actually considering boxers, but boxer briefs, which are briefs that extend a few inches down each leg. More support then just boxers.

You may want to consider the stretchy poly/spandex briefs. They really support without feeling tight. I was amazed by how comfortable they are. Fantastic!
 
Shinesty boxer briefs, unless I’m getting pegged. Then my wife makes me wear one of her HB panties after my morning shower
