What type of writing quirks do you guys have?

All I'm saying is, be careful. We've had several writers saying their stories were pushed back when they thought they'd be okay, more so in recent years. Sure, you'll find older dystopian stories, but there have been some writers with not much subtlety, pushing an overt agenda. Laurel pushes back.

If Laurel is the person who approves stories, and if I cross a line, I'm sure she'll let me know. I've read the guidelines and have made the story where I believe it falls within those guidelines. Thank you for your advice, I will write my stories, my way, and if they are returned or taken down, I'll deal with it by making whatever changes are called for or not worry about changes and just writing something different. I'm not pushing an agenda, but a story that has no conflict isn't much fun to read. I've read enough stories on here to see what I'm planning isn't that unique.
