According to the ATF, the number of gun store burglaries jumped 28 percent nationwide between 2013 and 2015.

During that time, more than 12,000 weapons including handguns, shotguns and assault rifles were stolen.

If only there were more guns around, we'd have a lot less crime.

IMO, they were in the hands of potential terrorists and probable meth heads to start with. Plus the irony of self-defence gun nutters getting robbed. Its NIMBY. Yanks already blow one another away at the rate of 10,000 per year so a few guns and a bit of ammo won't have that great of repercussions. So an LOL is deserving.

Gun purchases have been on the rise too. Thieves go where the money is.

It is getting harder and harder to be a thief with limited skills these days, as there is not as much cash in the system with so many people using credit cards and purchasing online.
