C'mon. You know it's not art, or award-worthy. But you still feel compelled to watch it when you come across it, because you enjoy it. It makes you feel good, and it's comfortable and comforting. I have at least a dozen of 'em.

Right now: The Holiday. Kate Winslet is adorable!

You go.

Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken ~ love the scene in the pond...and the diving horses.

Shawshank and Serendipity. I am not sure I have ever click past them. Great movies.

I can watch Labyrinth over and over and over again. Maybe just for David Bowie's package. It's weird. I have a problem.

Dirty Dancing, because I'm also cliche.

Almost any period piece with flouncy costumes. Even the bad ones. I eat that shit up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Why would watching those movies make you feel guilty?? Those are AMAZING movies. That's like saying "Oh, I just worked out for two hours and really pushed myself and achieved my fitness goals; I feel so guilty" or "I spent Christmas handing out blankets to homeless children. I'm such a shitty person." Watching Showgirls is a guilty pleasure. Watching Shawshank Redemption is just doing your job, as a human being.

The Sunshine Boys

Although it was worthy of an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor to George Burns. Well deserved.

Agreed. Shawshank was highly critically acclaimed, and nominated for multiple Academy awards. A guilty pleasure is something like...Point Break
