What do you do when you ask someone a question and their answer is a lot of irrelevance which fails to address the question at all?

I assume, first, that they don't understand, so I try to rephrase it in a way that hopefully they will.

Eventually, it often becomes clear, as in your case, that the question wasn't responded to because the person being asked didn't like the answer they would have been forced to give.

Nope. Even his "confession" was pretty half-assed, and attempting to downplay his part as much as possible. And, as Nora pointed out, parts of it were pure bullshit.

First off a lot of the allegations are indirect and spun off of half truths that people know nothing about.

Here are some direct answers to your questions and some pre-emptive answers.

1. I never shared personal info derived from any source (PM, IM, phone conversation, in perosn or email) with anyone on the board. The conversations and secrets I have with people are still intact secrets.

2. Everything I posted was from info derived from info already on the board. Whether the info was a speculation or in some obscure thread it was my info and not from a second source of any type.

3. Yes, I did post as marximus. When guileful came on scene, I stepped back away from her and marximus. I knew within 20 posts it was desiqn as guileful. I know how unstable desiqn is an have never trusted her.

4. The marximus pwd is known to at least 4 people. MWG is not one of them.

5. When marximus, myself or bob, would randomly "attack" a person it was a diversion to keep the Lit Detectives guessing to the identity. Most of the threads were tongue in cheek. 99% of the stuff I said as marximus I have said as HeavyStick.

*edited to add* I can not think of a single instance 'draah and I have ever spoken off of the board. draah and I briefly/barely speak in passing in very few threads. Her and I aren't friends or enemies, we're aware of each other and that's about it.

IMHO, people are associating all of the secrets Bob gave to desiqn as common knowledge to myself.
