Funny, I didn't get one of those pop-up thingies
that happens to me on occasion too.
What I love is when I get random pm pop ups.. yet no pm's.

Desiqn said:Now stop talking to me, I'm trying to get back to a post on page 24 to answer something Freya said.
Freya said:Page 24? I'm only on page 20.
Bent said:Well, I don't troll people, ok, except LT, and I'm not mean spirited to people either...ok, well, except LT. I've come to the conclusion that if by now, people that have 'known' me from the beginning still believe that I would do something even remotely close to this, then there isn't much I can do to change their minds, so I'm not even gonna try.

Maybe it has to do with the number of posts per page and who we have on ignore...
Rhys said:No Sunny, nobody cares. Besides your remarks were just you being you. After all its hilarious when somebody you don't like is trolled and tragic when its someone you do. If you are wondering, this is and always has been my fundamental problem with you.
Now do us all a favour? Shut up.

Olivianna said:Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying, since I wasn't really sure what you meant by that--that is, whether there are some people who are just universally off limits/untouchable, or what.
It's all pretty yuck. My preference is to limit my Lit friends to people whom I actually like (and thus won't talk shit about behind their backs), but I'm just weird like that.
Desiqn said:Well, I'd post it but posting Lit PMs is against the rules.
Basically some long winded bullshit, where she refuses to admit things she has already admitted in the past, most likely for fear I'd post the PM or send it to people, which I'll probably do anyways. She gives me shit for being untrustworthy and such. Pretty much exactly what I figured would be in there.
Now stop talking to me, I'm trying to get back to a post on page 24 to answer something Freya said.
There's really no need to bother Laurel about this crap.Bent said:Giving out people's IP numbers, personal info and all that, should be addressed by those accused, to include Laurel and draaah. If they didn't do it, fine...as I said with Heavy, a simple no would suffice, but since it seems to me that people aren't saying anything in the hopes that it will just blow over and eventually no one will care, then yeah, for me, I believe them to be guilty.
And all this 'Laurel PMd me and swore she didn't do it'....only to her 'friends' is ridiculous at best. There are a great deal of people that support this board, buy their books, etc, and they deserve an answer just as much as the chosen few.

That's sort of like demanding that the Kindergarten teacher prove she wasn't the one that threw the spitwad.

"He/She doesn't need to troll because they're not afraid to say what they as their own name."
I don't think fear has anything to do with it, personally. Bob, Design and MWG are in my opinion some of the posters who are bravest with their opinions, no matter how scathing they are. I don't think they fear reprisal from their posting-peers.
Yet, they used Alts to stir the shit.
They could just as well have used their own names to post the shit they did. I don't see much difference between the Alts and their regular user names.
Bent said:They always claimed that they did though. How many times have we heard MWG especially, saying just that?

And, what about honeylick?
Didn't Morcheeba say that information she gave honeylick on a postcard ended up in one of the alt flame threads?
Maybe she should be asked what part she played in the scenario?
Calamity Jane said:AND, if Laurel, as the owner of this board DID choose to share information with a moderator, or her friend, that's her choice.
(and no, I don't think she did)
It's not the sharing of information that bothers me. I could give two shits if information about me comes up in conversation, it's the malicious intent behind the way the information came back out on the board that sucks.

Calamity Jane said:Wow. Take someone off ignore for the first time in months, only to realize they're still the same exact person.
Bent said:So, let me ask you this...if Laurel decided to one day just hand over all the info that she gathers from this website to the Justice Department because she feels like it, then it's ok, because she owns this place? Again...people on this board bitch and moan about the Patriot Act, yet here is a prime example of what can happen if information is put into the wrong hands.
I get your point, I just disagree with it.
