GUIDE FOR THE NEWBIES

I've noticed a lot of newly registered posters here as of late, good to see, and just to help them ease their way smoothly onto the boards, I would like to offer some a couple of insights (I'm relatively new here myself)

GLOSSARY

NEWBIE: This is you, Virgin, you'll be ignored, nothing personal. It means we tolerate you. Virgin status doesn't last long.

FLAMED: Verbal abuse, this means we like you, but we hate your post. Being flamed is better than being ignored. Being repeatedly flamed means we like you a whole bunch. Being flamed by a troll is different.

TROLL: Registered user that posts in disguise (says "Guest" under name), universally despised for cowardly flaming, usually ignored, usually DOYA, funny trolls always ignored.

DOYA: Drunk off your ass

LOL: laughing out loud

LMFHO: laughing my foolish head off

ROTFLMFHO: urinating in pants

LAUREL: The bouncer, we all love the bouncer

MANU: unknown

This thread is for words of wisdom for the newbies, help me out here, guys.

What about a smilie key? I mean, other than the one already here. I don't know where the other ones come from.

Patryn if you hit the key at the top that says smilies you go to the Lit smilies ... at the bottom of that page there is a ling for Crack Smilies, hit it and your in smilie heaven
