grrrr...whats a pdf file and how...

god, i hate computers sometimes! I download a bat template from Martha Stewart, its a pdf file, when i go to open it, it asks me what to open it with? welllll,i have tried all of the items listed and none of them work. Sooo, no what??

And just one more thing...this great crafty idea I had to make these stupids bats for my kids has turned into a great big pain in the ass. Not only can I not get the damn bat to open,it took me 2 days to find black construction paper. You would think, being Halloween and all, that you could find black construction paper anywhere! You would be wrong! I swear, this is what i get for trying to be domestic.

I think .pdf files are opened in adobe acrobat, but knowing me i'm probably wrong

you need to download adobe acrobat reader, http://www.adobe.com the latest version you can find, just to be sure.

It's just a nifty program to allow the end user to see something exactly the way it was designed.

PDF files are Portable Document Formats.. and you need Adobe Acrobat to open them.. go here for it.. http://www.adobe.com

Well, I finally did get it to open, but now its not prinint...if i change the type of file it is, will it print? maybe? printer is working correctly, i did a test page, so its not the printer. any ideas?

hmmmm.. can you email it to me? the file.. in the form it's in now.. let me see if i can print it.. i know this doesn't help YOU lol.. but if i can get it to print.. then we will know if it's your printer.. and if i can't get it to print out, i MIGHT be able to fix it so it will print out.. anyway.. email it to me.. to clerky31@hotmail.com
