Yeah, I'm a leading authority on using gravity in mining. It is why my Truck routinely went to the fuel dock with a calculated fuel state of <300 gals in a 1,300 gal tank, yet only took on 650-800 gals. I saved them more money in diesel alone than I was paid.

I had a similar idea with a system of downhill loaded trucks on a drive system using uphill empty trucks for braking while they hoisted empty trucks back up the northwest ramp.

Now do copper mining where your material is taken to an uphill dump using no energy.

. . .except that losses of time in mining trucks cost $100 per minute in lost productivity. Diesel costs a lot less than that and takes 20 minutes to get through the Wiggins into the tank. Even with quick change battery packs it would never work because the weight and size of the battery pack would far exceed the weight and size for the same energy potential of 1300 gallons of

75000 lb is gross vehicle weight. The actual payload is closer to 55000 pounds. I was rated for 624, 000 lbs...And I can refuel in 20 minutes.

So sure if you can buy 11 Tesla trucks for 2.5 million dollars and they can each recharge in 20 minutes then this is a totally workable solution. My guess is you would need more like 15-18 trucks for 2.5 million dollars because of the idle time.
