IN reading and posting to Rick Deville's thread, I found myself longing for the opportunity to see

the Eagles

Elton John

Billy Joel

The Beatles *impossible, but hey....this is a wish list*

Janis Joplin

Stevie Ray Vaughn

I was green with envy after reading some of the posts.

Who would you like to see?

The Beatles (I did see George Harrison and Ringo).

The Who (I did see Roger Daltrey).

:rose:

I can think of a shit load of bands and artists that I wish I could have seen. A large percentage of the music I listen to is Old School, of one form or another, so there is no chance that I will ever see any of these people, but its a nice dream...

Bob Marley
John Lennon
the doors
pink floyd with Sid Barrett
The Velvet Underground
Janis Joplin
Jimi Hendrix (You might as well say that I really shoulda been at Woodstock!)
Buddy Holly
The Beatles (I would give anything to have seen them play in Hamburg with Stuart and Pete)
Led Zep
Lynyrd Skynyrd with Ronny Van Zant

The list really just gos on and on....

Big on my list: Kiss in full makeup with all the pyrotechnics :D

I also would have liked to have seen Jimi Hendrix & the Doors plus a lot of metal bands when they were in their prime.

I'm still waiting for someone to invent a time machine so I can go back and see Queen when they played at Wembly Stadium or any other concert they did for that matter!

I simply regret not being born early enough to enjoy the entire Woodstock experience, (and the Beatles as well of course).:(

Woo Ladyhawke!!!! You are my new best friend at Lit. ;) That was my post on the thread to which MissTaken was referring. :D Rock on, Queen sister!

U2, during the 80's, in Berlin.
David Bowie, from the 70's, in London.
The Doors, from the 60's, anywhere.
The B-52's, from the early 80's, in DC.
Pink Floyd, from the late 80's, in LA.
Rolling Stones, from the mid-80's, in London.
The Police, from the early 80's, in Paris.

Saw the Eagles, Doobies, Kiss, Frampton, Styx, Aerosmith, Kansas, Fleetwood, Starship, etc back in my younger days already. Memorable for sure!

you can still see them, sans Zach with Chris Cornell...c'mon, it can't be half bad.

I'd loved to have seen Sly and the Family Stone and Parliament/Funkadelic in their heyday.

Janis, Stones, James Brown and not really rock, but I'd love to have seen Miles Davis live.

I forgot Prince, who's going to be in town tomorrow night for a show, and since it wasn't announced until thursday, and I didn't hear until friday...tickets sold out in 10 minutes. That is so unfair.

Actually you can't see them with Chris Cornell, they er had a falling out and apparently the project is shelved

Robert Johnson in a stanky old bar with cheap beer and cheaper clientele, myself included.

I would love to have seen the beatles, the sex pistols (just a few years too young), the clash, duran duran (was going until the girl who was giving me tickets had to give them to her sister) I'd love to see bob marley and the ramones one more time.

I would have loved to have seen Led Zep. the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Procol Harem, Cream, Velvet Underground, the Beatles, and the Who

Yes it can be! Zach's vocals and Tom's playing just meshed.. Cornell is a helluva singer himself and I do like Soundgarden, but it's not going to be the same... RATM even said as much.

As for bands I'd wanna see...

Queen
Motorhead (They are still touring though I hear.. so maybe..)
Steppenwolf

I know there are others.. but I can't think of them at the moment... These three though popped in my head instantly.

Rage sans Zach are nothing. nada. zip. zero. zilch

I wouldn't want to see the Beatles.... too much screaming for my tender ears....

But as far as 90s/00s rock bands go? seen pretty much everyone i've wanted to.. Greenday, Ash, Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Fun Lovin Criminals, The Strokes, Massive Attack, Shed Seven... but they're all still together

hmm... oh yeah! I still wanna see Oasis!

sitting right beside you/love your taste in music

I would give up my firstborn to have seen the Doors in concert. Ok, well maybe my second born. But, Jim Morrison was gone before I was born *sigh*

God Smack
I would have loved to see Alice in Chains.....but
Led Zepplin
The real Guns and Roses

The Presidents of the United States of America would have been a blast live, you just know it-
