Great Minds Think Alike

I'm a bit unclear as to the OP's position on this. (aka was that a serious or a tongue-in-cheek remark?)
But leaving aside the fact that it all sounds a bit ridiculous and outlandish, coming from Ben Carson,

Yes, it Is true, in part . Because I was reading these things by Naomi Wolf, where she explained
in detail how the latest events are typical of progressively more closed societies.
She was referring to the States. But I would say these apply to Eu, too.

How many more usernames are you planning to try on before you find one that fits?

James speaks?

JBJ?
What was your clue? The word "brainiac"?

Damn, I so hoped that this thread could go towards a debate, instead of JBJ trying some flaming
- I love these sort of topics.:(

How many email addresses must he have?

Blobfish told us once that you can delete out the old email address in a current user name and just keep using the same one for all the subsequent names you create.

My way is simpler. I put on my ruby red heels and say, LAUREL PLEASE CHANGE MY NAME.

I got a better one. Dig this: A blonde like you is trying to open her front door, and close to her is the shadow of a man with an axe.

hei, duffus,
you started nicely and now you come up with this crap?

I Looooove Conspiracy& nwo theories. Why don't you take the idea further (aka post more links) or start another thread?
Unless that's what you intended - flaming

It goes where it goes. If you don't like the direction, change it.

If I was the doofus so many think I am I'd write posts like they do rather than write like a brainiac surgeon.

1.OK,
I'm trying to do what you're suggesting. I'll post a link, which means that I'm throwing the ball back into your court.

2.N.B.
Even if I enjoy reading some of those so-called "Nwo/Conspiracy theories of globalization",
- I'm not one of those crazy proponents. I read them partially for entertainment, and I don't believe everything I read.
- The other authors that I went through are much more academic or sophisticated - yet, I'm citing Naomi Klein because her write-up was much more practical and easy to read.

3.I'm opening myself to some potential ridicule here, I am Very Aware of that. YW.
- P.S. NSA or Laurel might not like this either.::(

"" If you look at history, you can see that there is essentially a blueprint for turning an open society into a dictatorship.
- Because we no longer learn much about our rights or our system of government - the task of being aware of the constitution has been outsourced from citizens' ownership to being the domain of professionals such as lawyers and professors - we scarcely recognise the checks and balances that the founders put in place, even as they are being systematically dismantled.
- Because we don't learn much about European history, the setting up of a department of "homeland" security - remember who else was keen on the word "homeland" - didn't raise the alarm bells it might have."

"Of course, the United States is not vulnerable to the violent, total closing-down of the system that followed Mussolini's march on Rome or Hitler's roundup of political prisoners. Our democratic habits are too resilient, and our military and judiciary too independent, for any kind of scenario like that.
- Rather, as other critics are noting, our experiment in democracy could be closed down by a process of erosion."

Thread name, thread tone, yes, brainiac, "I said it first"

Hardly an ounce of not JBJ.

Its inevitable that every unprincipled and undisciplined society must become fascist or cease to exist. Fascism has an evil reputation but I've seen it close up in Spain, and there people did okay tho they didn't dare do their shit out on the street. All fascism does is tone down excess.

I never know when you're serious or kidding::devil:

Ben Carson is a Creationist. No Creationist can be described as a great mind, by definition.
