Granny is Dead

105 years old.

A good run.

She ate lots of fish, as did my grandfather.

He was 97 when he croaked.

Grandma used to nag at me to straighten up my spine
To act respectful and read good books
To take care of what was mine.......

Sorry about your grandma. 105 makes her a contemporary of my maternal grandma, albeit a couple of years younger. Prolly ate too much fish.

OK, Lance, I'll rise to the jig...

If, indeed, yer Gran has passed, recently, I offer most heartfelt condolences. I'm so old, MY Granny has been gone since 1971.

If, this is a set-up, however, please consider me well and truly gulled (of the herring variety).

Lutefisk? :D

Sorry for your loss Lance. I'm sure you have many fond memories to help you through the sadness.

Hands up all those that actually believe shorty lost a relative? Hell, his own mother hasn't seen him since she dropped him in the abortion bucket.

My last grandparent died in 1995 at age 90. She was the oldest of them when they died. The youngest died at age 42 back in the 1940's.

97 and 105 are pretty good runs for both of them. I'm guessing this was your last grandparent, too? It's an odd feeling when a whole generation is gone. Sorry to hear you've joined that club.
