Good morning!

• I've started writing again. Political commentary today. It's more smarmy than usual so I'll have to edit it before it's picked up. Of course, the family newsletter really isn't that picky. . .
• I just enrolled in classes for summer and fall. 9 hours in the summer and 18 in the fall. Is Muffie a glutton?
• We had to call a plumber 'cause the landlord is ducking our calls.
• It's too hot to wear a shirt and my father-in-law is coming over. This is not an asthetically good thing.
• I keep going here and chortling instead of here and doing homework.

as for me,
the man is off today, both he and the duckling are still in snoozeville.
I think we're going out today, and then grilling something later for dinner.
It's going to be 90ish degrees here today, not bad for a culinary Sunday.

There was a story on the heat wave on NPR this morning, from New York City, and they spoke to some women who were at a Russian/Turkish bath in the East Village. 180ºF. They said that it was okay as long as you didn't have clothes sticking to you. And it made the 90ºs outside feel "springlike."
