I have to agree with Sean, Death Note is a pretty good entry point to anime. Other than how good it is, it's also not as out there as some anime can be.

Also, I watched Ghost in the Shell (the film version) again a few days ago. It's just great sci-fi - convincing technobabble, thought-provoking themes, and a disquieting soundtrack. Some nudity, but not in a titillating way. Don't know about the series (I understand it's unrelated), but the film version is definitely worth watching unless sci-fi is not your thing.

Ghost in the Shell is nice. As films go my recommendations shift. For the moment I started with series.

For films Vampire Hunter D: Blood Lust is a great entry point. High action, good plot, decent tits.

Project A-Ko is a cute one as well but it's more cute and fun than actually good. Between me and Reiha we could list days worth of Anime but we're trying to pick good entry points. Personally I love .hack but it's a terrible place to get aboard (unless you're a kid and it's literally your first step) Otherwise if you liked it you'd already be watching it.

Kinda like for US animation I love Teen Titans and Batman the Brave and the Bold but if you aren't already on the train those are stops at zany town. Newbs should start with Young Justice and Batman the Animated Series as they are legends that never die. Or Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Well yeah. sometimes my Wii loses connection to my netflix but my Ipad never does. plus my Ipad is HD.

Episode 3 of WitchBlade. I am starting to get into it. I love the creepy things she does with her tongue when she's ready to kill! lol

Watched episode 1 and 2 of Gurren Lagann. enjoyable but not great. Yes, I did enjoy Yoko's boobies! lol Don't think I'll keep on with it though.

That's it for now. Time is an issue with being able to watch more. contrary to popular belief I don't watch porn and anime 24 hours a day. lol
