Going to Belgium...it's like laying down on the carpet.

Has anyone been to Belgium? I had a short trip this past week and I am wondering if it is really as boring as I found it or is it just my job that made it boring for me.

While I was there the locals did not seem to know of ANYTHING to do in their entire country. That can't be.

It was strange. It was excruciatingly dull.
It was like...laying down on the carpet.

I was in Brussels and Bruges back in May/June and found things to do. Mind you, if you were in the EU sections of Brussels, there isn't shit in that end of town. Brussels has some real nice night clubs and I was told a few good jazz clubs as well. Mind you, if you were hanging out with people from the EU, most are weekday residents who go elsewhere during the week.

That's why it's bad most of the time.
You should check out the Flemish-speaking bars near Brussels Nord station - Stella and Champagne for breakfast. Not bad at all.
