Matt shrugged, "Yeah but she doesn't know that. Can't I just pretend that she thinks my junk is huge?" He asked teasingly.

Rogue tilted her head, looking down at the burger. "That good eh?" she asked with a chuckle before picking the burger up with both hands. She pulled it forward and took a bite, grinning as she chewed slowly. She looked at him and nodded in delight before setting the burger back down.
She grabbed the ketchup and covered her fries in it before scooping one up. "So what else is there to do around here? We should do something fun." she commented after chewing and swallowing. "Maybe a walk in a park or something?"

Jake smiled and ate his burger. He glanced at Rogue hoping for a big smile from her reaction. She mentioned doing something fun and shrugged, "We actually aren't very far from the beach. WE could head down to the point and watch people surf, or just sit in the sand under the beach and get to know each other better." He suggested.
Rogue looked at him thoughtfully then smiled slowly. "I haven't been to the beach in forever." she murmured. "I would love to do that. To just go sit and watch the water, talk a bit. That sounds so relaxing right now. Let's go as soon as we finish eating okay?"

So they ate and savored the burgers, the best burgers in town as far as he was concerned. It was nice just having the company of a beautiful woman, Rogue was sitting close enough that he could feel her body heat warming his side. When they were done they left and Matt led Rogue down to the beach, where they took a walk along the sand, staying just out of reach of the waves.
They walked along the beach for a while, until the walked under the pier and Matt suggested they sit for a bit and listen to the waves echo under the wooden planks. It was cool under the pier, with the salty sea breeze cooling.
"I am sorry you got ripped from your world Rogue. But I am very happy you are here. It's like I've finally gotten to go on a date with my biggest crush." He confessed.
They walked along the beach for a while, until the walked under the pier and Matt suggested they sit for a bit and listen to the waves echo under the wooden planks. It was cool under the pier, with the salty sea breeze cooling.

Rogue smiled, moving a little closer to him as the wind blew her hair around. The sound of the waves was relaxing, calming. She had always hated going to the beach, so afraid of having contact with another human. But she didn't have to worry about that here in his world. It was very freeing.
"It's not all bad you know?" She murmured slowly. "I miss my world, my home, but I could learn to love it here. I can actually touch people, get close to someone. Maybe have a family one day. I miss my friends, but other than that there really wasn't anything for me in that world. Here, there are so many more options."
She shifted a little closer, resting her head on his shoulder as she watched the waves crashing against the beach. One arm wrapped around his waist to press closer still, it was very cold under the pier after all. "Could learn to like it here a lot."

Jake loved how warm she felt against him. She snuggled herself closer and he was glad shs could touch him. Though he wondered if she was trying to make him feel better. It was kinda his fault this happened right? He opened the book after all. Even if he couldn't possibly know what would happen. Still in the moment he didn't care.
All that mattered was Rogue's warmth pressed against him. Her arm around him. He tilted his head to press his cheek to her hair, his hand around her. Just holding her was comforting to them both. Though his body yearned for more.
As the waves started lapping closer to them he had to let her go. "Come on. High tide is coming and it is dangerous to be under the pier." They stood and began walking back toward his apartment. As they walked he told her the places she could go within walking distance if she wanted to get out of the apartment for a while. He had work tomorrow and he did t want her to feel stuck at home when he wasn't around.

She reached out as they walked, tucking her hand into his to walk closer. She looked around at in the direction of the places he described. When he mentioned he had to work it reminded her that she should get a job soon as well, to help out. She would look into it tomorrow, explore this new world a bit and get used to it.
"I'll be fine by myself for a bit, don't worry. I'll explore a bit and figure this new world out. Maybe see if I can find somewhere I would like to work at."

They got back to his apartment and after he let them inside Jake paused to really look at her. "Rogue." He called out to her, but lost his voice for anything else. Instead he took a moment to really look at her beautiful eyes and he shook his head.

Rogue gasped in surprise before returning the kiss, her arms lifting to wrap around his neck. She pulled him close, losing herself in the feelings flowing through the both of them. It had been building all day, bouncing from him to her and back again, desire growing stronger each moment until this moment when it had boiled over and become uncontrollable.

He was so nervous, he couldn't believe he was kissing Rogue. He felt her kiss him back and suddenly all was right with his world. He sighed and let his hands fall to her hips, as he kissed her. Jake felt his eyes widen as she peeled her shirt over her head and tossed it aside. Her breasts bare to him and he maveled at them.
