The alarm on his phone rang off with a twinkle and a buzz, jerking Matt out of his slumber quickly. He was always a quick riser, even if tired he could jump out of bed and hit the ground running, sometimes he would stumble later in the day, but nevertheless...Today was a day where he was eager to get going. There were lots of things to do, and since today was his day off, he had plenty of time to get things done.

So out of bed he rolled, almost jumping directly into the shower pausing only to grab the clothes for the day. Disney songs played in his head jokingly which only angered him in reminded him that Disney now owned Marvel Comics. Marvel comics was the biggest reason he was so happy to get out of bed today.

For today his favorite character in the Marvel universe was getting a special edition collector's issue. It was supposed to be printed in hardcover 3D and he couldn't wait. The character of course was Rogue. The sexiest and most badass of the X-Men. Something about the Southern Belle just excited him in a way no other character in the universe did. Maybe it was how forbidden it was to love her. Her mutant power caused her to drain the life out of everyone she touched with skin contact. That meant that no matter how sexy and hot she was, one could never sleep with her because you'd be dead before you got it inside of her. Such a dangerous thrill.

After Matt finished his shower he got dressed and left his apartment to handle everything he had to do. Finally after his errands were done he stopped by Jessie's Comic Corner and darted inside.

"Hey Matt." Jessie said from behind the counter. "What brings you in today?"

Matt raised his hands, "You have to ask me that Jessie? You know I'm here for my collector's edition Rogue special."

Jessie frowned and sighed, "Ah shit man, I don't have it."

Matt blinked. "What?"

"It didn't come in my order today, I think it got pushed back, or my supplier didn't have any to send me."

Matt shook his head, "No, no no no. You told me yesterday that it was coming. You confirmed it."

Jessie laughed, "Bah you're too damn easy to screw with. I got it right back here." He spun and knelt behind the counter. Matt felt his disappointment ebbed away. What a dick move to taunt him like that. It was then that Matt felt like a uber nerd, getting so worked up over a fucking comic book.

Jessie turned and set the book on the counter. It had a gold holographic cover and it seemed to glow as it sat there on the wooden surface. Matt ran his hand gently over the shrink-wrapped book. "Wow it's gorgeous."

Matt paid for the book and quickly headed home. He set the book on the table and worked quickly to put his groceries away. When he went to pick up the book he paused as he noticed it was glowing again. It seemed to pulse with golden color. He had thought it was an illusion of the graphic back at the store, but here in his living room he could tell that the book was actually glowing. Which didn't make any sense, how could a book glow? It wasn't big enough to have a lightsource and a battery, it only had thirty pages to it.

He picked it up off the table and held it in his hands, which made the pulse of the light move faster and faster. Gingerly his hand moved up to the shrink wrap seam and he dug into it. The moment he tore the wrap, the book exploded in his hands, sending him flying. He toppled over onto his back and looked up in awe as the book turned into a blinding golden light, hovering in mid-air. The light expanded until it was like a doorway in the middle of the room.

Matt's eyes went wide and he stood up slowly, trying to peer into the portal. He could vaguely see a shape in the light. A shadow that seemed to get bigger and bigger. it seemed to be racing toward the doorway.

Suddenly a womanly shape barreled through the doorway into his living room, crashing into him and causing him to fall onto his back yet again. The woman tumbled with him and fell on top of him. The golden light from the book vanished and Matt was left with a woman on top of him.

A woman with brown hair hanging over her face. Brown hair with a white streak in it. She lifted herself up on him a bit and looked into his eyes with a shocked look. Matt's own eyes were just as shocked. He was staring at Rogue. She looked a little different because she was here in real life but there was no mistaking that he was staring at Rogue, the real deal Rogue.

Holy shit! He thought.

"Umm...hi." He said softly.

Rogue quickly jumped to her feet as she saw it was a person she had landed on, hands raising in the air instinctively to keep from touching another person. A male, she noted vaguely as she eyed the man to try to determine if she had touched him with bare skin. It seemed she had not, so she turned her attention to surveying the strange room she was in instead, still watching the man from the corner of her eye.

Moments ago she had been chasing after her enemy, Magneto, before a golden doorway had opened right in her path. She had tried to stop before reaching it, but had not been able to prevent herself from hurtling through. And now she was in this strange place. She glanced over her shoulder, but the doorway was gone. Unsurprising. But she still needed to find a way back home quickly.

She paused in her search, turning her attention down to her clothes that had changed just slightly. She was still wearing her yellow and green suit, but it was much more skin tight than it had been before, especially around her breasts and crouch area. The latex material was shiny and smooth. Her weapon belt was as low slung as usual on her hips and her brown coat was the same as well, although it seemed to be made of leather in this world. Her yellow gloves were snug in place which was good. Green headband was still holding her hair back from her place as normal. She didn't feel as strong as normal, but she put it off as a side affect of whatever that portal had been.

"Where am I?" she asked slowly in her Southern drawl. "Who are you?" She turned her eyes down, looking at him angrily to hide just how frightened she really was with this new situation. "What did you do to me? Are you working with Magneto?"

Matt got off the floor slowly. His eyes never left the beautiful woman who literally just fell into his life. He couldn't believe what had happened. To have a charcter right out of his comic right here in front of him. The real character too. Not some girl in a cheap cosplay outfit. This was the real tried and true Rogue. Her outfit was a little different than in the comics. Most likely because now it had to be made of real materials, and it clung to her in a much more revealing way.

His eyes took in the sight with great hunger. So much so that he didn't hear her speak to me for amoment. She huffed and he jerked out of it. "Oh god sorry. I just can't believe you are really here. Its like a dream come true."

He glanced at the golden book on the table. Having burst forth its magic it seemed to be just a regular comic now. It no longer glowed and in fact the color of the book seemed to be dull by comparison. "I don't know. All I did was open your comic and suddenly you came falling throughsome doorway of light." He explained. "I ddon't know how to get you back. I'm just a oharmacy clerk."

Rogue stared at him blankly, not used to men eyeing her the way he was. She then followed his glance to the comic. "What is a comic and why do I have one?" she asked slowly, moving over to the table to stare down at the book.

She jumped back when she saw her picture on the cover, spinning around to glare at him. "What sorcery is this? Why is my picture on that? Where am I?" She snapped, marching back over to him with her hands balled into fists now.

"Are you a mutant? I know! Your powers are to trap others into these pictures books aren't they? You want to trap me. You're working for Magneto. Admit it!"

Matt threw his hand into the air and shook his head furiously. "No! I didn't do anything. I'm just a guy. You are a character in a comic book." He explained, "Look there was a special edition of your book, the golden one right there. But when I opened it this doorway opened up and you can tumbling out."

He backed up slowly toward his computer room and opened the door. "Look Rogue you are my favorite character. I have a bunch of comic books with you in them. But it's just stories, in my world there are no mutants, no powers nothing like that." He showed her a X-Men comic.

"I'm sorry," He frowned at her. "I woke up this morning eager to get your new story, and it brought you to life right here in my living room. Please don't hit me, I'll die." He pleaded.

She dropped her fists and moved over to him slowly, taking the comic from him and looking through it slowly. She was very carefully not to touch his skin despite her gloves being in place. "No one has ever been afraid to die when I hit them." She said softly, surprised by the fear she saw in his eyes.

She looked up at him, standing only a few steps away with the comic in hand. She was nervous and unsure, this new world frightening her. "What do I do now?" She wondered aloud. "I need to get home somehow."

She looked back to the comic, staring at her own picture. "I don't understand. These are things I've done in the past. Things the X-men have done. How can you have something that is supposed to be top secret in such a small book? It doesn't make sense to me."

Matt could see the look on her face. She was shocked she didn't know what was happening, hell neather did he. However he had read a lot of comic books and he thought he knew how he could put it into terms she understood. He grabbed the book from her and said, "Look I don't know what happened. I guess it was magic of some kind."

"Think of it like this. You are aware of different demensions right? You are in my demension now. And in my world your life and the life of your friends exists as superhero stories in these picture books." He explained.

"Trough these stories you have become my favorite character Rogue. To me having you suddenly appear in my life for real is like a dream. I don't know how you can get back because like I said super powers and magic doesn't exist here. But if you are stuck here, you can stay with me. I can teach you about my world. And I can help you get comfortable here." He told her hopefully. God she was beautiful a d that body suit was clinging to her in ways that made things happen in his crotch.

"Superheroes?" She whispered, looking back to at him. She was close enough that she had to tilt her head up slightly to look into his eyes. "I need to figure out how to get home. But until then I suppose I do need a place to stay."

She looked around his home. "This place isn't all that different from back home. It's just..less colorful?" She shook her head, giving a small smile. "There aren't any mutants here you said?" She asked, looking back to him.

"I wonder if I can..." She trailed off, shaking her head. "No. Too risky. I can't try that."

Matt could see Rogue running through her situation. He wondered what she was thinking but he saw the way she glanced up at him and he knew what it was. No surprise actually, Matt had read Rogue's story since she first appeared in X-Men #192. She was wondered if she had her powers still. If not then she might be able to experience the touch of another person without killing them. The touch of a man though Gambit had tried many times to get her to let him risk it

Matt smiled and took a step back, "I don't know if your powers work in this world Rogue. They might, which is why I didn't want you to hit me. With your strength you would have knocked my head off." He shrugged and suggested, "Why don't you try flying? Or at least try hovering in the room. If that doesn't work then your other powers probably don't work either."

He tingled with excitement. If she could touch him. If she couk d have that contact would she want to touch him? Would she let him touch her. The idea was intoxicating. What if he actually got to sleep with the woman of his endless fantasies?

Wait till people even saw her with him. The envy would be wonderful. Although Rogue was a very beautiful woman and she could have any man she wanted. The men in her world all looked like models and he looked like a slightly overweight nerd. Suddenly Matt sobered as he realized she could just run off and find any other guy on Earth she was attracted too.

Rogue looked down at her hands as she contemplated his words. After a few moments she gave a nod. "Flying is good." she murmured before lifting her arms above her head as she attempted to hover. The action thrust her chest forward, but she paid little attention to it as she strained for something that usually came so easy for her.

She kept at the attempt, even jumping up and down in place a bit at one point and trying to get a running start going at another. But nothing happened. Her face was red from the strain and sweat had started to form, something she never had to worry about in her old world.

She finally gave up, looking over at him as if debating. Slowly, very slowly as if not wanting to spook him, she slid one of her gloves off. She approached him, hand held out in front of her with her pointer finger extended. She stopped with her finger hovering inches from his neck.

"I'm sorry but I have to know." she drawled softly. "I promise this won't hurt more than a few seconds."

With that she pressed the very tip of her finger to his cheek, eyes watching his face closely for any sign of the usual draining process that happened. But he didn't seem to react at all. She couldn't drain his strength, even when she focused on the skill to do so on purpose.

A slow grin broke across her face as she flattened her palm against his cheek, enjoying the contact of touching his skin. "This is great. I can't even remember the last time I was able to safely touch another person you know?"

Matt watched her attempt to fly. Thrusting her chest out in front of her in an attempt to lift off into the air. Matt couldn't help but notice the way her breasts bounced and moved as she hopped and jogged around. The hunger in his eyes had to be obvious, but Rogue thankfully didn't seem to notice his gaze, at least not the heat behind it. It really had been a long time since his first girlfriend in highschool.

Finally Rogue gave up on the flying attempt, and her focus turned to him. Matt swallowed and took a step back afraid that she noticed the sexual hints in the way he watched her move and bounce around. Then her fingers tugged at her glove and she moved toward him. This was the moment of truth, Matt knew that if her powers didn't work here, there might be a chance that all his dreams could be coming true.

Rogue touched his face and he prepared to feel his soul get sucked away. Though he didn't know what he expected he did expect pain. When he felt nothing, and saw the smile spread across Rogues' face. Her palm cuddled against his cheek and he brought his own hand up to cup her face. "I know how long it's been Rogue." He told her softly.

"How does it feel to touch again?" He asked, moving a step closer to her and meeting her eyes. His free hand came up and brushed her hair back from her cheek. He cupped her cheek and smiled, "You can't possibly imagine how i've wished for this."

"You've wished for this?" she gave a short laugh, her hand moving up so she could run her fingers through his hair. Her eyes were locked on his, the thrill she felt at simply touching another human being seeming to make them glow.

"All the times I watched the others, touching, hugging, kissing." She trailed off, her hand drifting back down. Her thumb slid over his lower lip as her eyes dropped their in fascination. "Gambit tried to kiss me so many times, but it never worked. He only succeeded in hurting himself. He never gave up though."

"What's it feel like?" she asked in her accented voice. "To kiss someone? To hold them close to you?"

Matt shook his head, "I haven't had a girlfriend since high school, and we didn't do much of that." He told her. "Being a comic and video game guy labels me as a nerd and girls don't much like that around here." He told her softly. He wanted so badly to press himself against her fabulous body. Wanted so badly to kiss her, to touch her all over.

But he forced himself to step away. "I want this Rogue I mean I really really want this." He told her, gesturing to her crafted from stone-like body. "You'd rock my fucking world." He chuckled slightly and shook his head, "But I also don't want you to do something you'll regret with me. I mean...I know you are eager to experience touching someone skin to skin, but I don't want you to rush into touching me because you think you have no choice."

He sat down on the couch and sighed, "IT's funny, all the times I dreamt of you becoming real, I thought it you would like appear and start loving me like no one else will. But that's naive fantasy thoughts. Sexual dreams and teenage garbage." He looked up at her smiled, "Unless you just wanna jump my bones and get right into the deep end. I'm trying to take the high road you know. I dont want to take advantage of you simply because I happen to be the guy closest when you realized your powers no longer work."

Rogue stared after him as he took a seat on the couch, the feeling of rejection not new to her. But he wasn't exactly rejecting her. She understood perfectly why he had backed off, and was grateful he had. She didn't know if she would have regretted her actions or not, but she certainly had been moving too fast. She didn't even know his name.

She moved over and sat beside him on the couch. "Well lets start with the basics then. You know all about me, but I know nothing about you or your world." She said, sitting forward with her arms on her knees. "Why don't you start by telling me your name? Tell me about your world. What should I expect, what will be expected of me. I'm assuming I don't need to go around saving anyone since I don't have my mutant powers anymore anyway you know."

Matt smiled as she took a seat beside him, she wanted to know about him and the world she now lived in which was a good sign. "My name is Matt, and I work in a pharmacy a few miles from here. I have been a comic book nerd my whole life as liking superheroes isn't a very appealing thing to the general crowd. As far as the what you can expect from the world well...picture everything you do in your world when you aren't fighting bad guys."

He gestured to her body, "As amazing as you look in that outfit, you can't wear that in public. I can help you out as you can wear some of my clothes until we get a chance to go get you some of your own clothes. I just need you to wait until my payday before I can afford to get you stuff."

Matt couldn't help himself he reached over and took her bare hand and held it gently. "You might need to get a normal job too Rogue." He told her with a wink. "But I am going to do everything in my power to help you."

She tilted her head, looking down at his hand. "A job I can do. I don't know what I'd be good at but I can try my best. As for clothes?" She paused, looking down at her outfit. "I need something more covering don't I?"

She sighed, tugging her jacket closer. She had never had to worry about men staring at her body before. Or touching her without permission because they would just pay the price for doing so. That didn't matter here. Anyone could touch her here. And without her strength it was likely a lot of people could overpower her.

"Do you have a shower? I'd like to shower and change. Maybe I can borrow a big shirt from you?" She looked up at him. "I promise I'll try to find a job quickly. I don't want to be a burden on you."

Matt nodded and gestured toward his bedroom. "Yeah sure. Come on the bathroom is connectedto the bedroom." He got up and pulled uer down the hall by her hand, unwilling to let her go just yet. He took her to his bedroom and thanked God that he had cleaned his sheets before she magically arrived.

He open d his closet and ruffled around. Finally he pulled out a black t-shirt with the call of duty logo on it. Then he dug out a pair of jeans. "These might be big, but you can roll them up so they don't drag."

He glanced at her and took one last look at her in the bodysuit. "You are incredibly beautiful. I can't lie and tell you I won't be a little sad to see you covered up." He smiled and gave her a towel. "Bathroom is just through the door there. Use ny soap and shampoo for now. You'll smell like a dude but you'll be clean."

He winked, "Call if you need me to wash your back."

"I'm pretty used to smelling like a dude considering how many of them I live with." She chuckled as she took the items he handed her. She headed off to the bathroom, pulling the door closed behind her.

It had nearly been an hour before she returned to the living room. She had had trouble getting the water temperature adjusted and then had to fight to get her outfit off as it was much tighter in the realm, the material less stretchy. Then after finally getting in the water she had gotten shampoo in her eyes. It had burned here where in her world it never bothered her.

After dealing with all of that she had to figure out a way to make his clothes fit. She had used her belt to cinch the pants around her waist then rolled the legs up, easily enough. The shirt slipped right on but was big on her, one side of the neck kept sliding down and leaving her shoulder bare.

She flopped on the couch, eyes still red from the shampoo and hair damp. "Well that was unpleasant." She muttered. "But I suppose it will get easier as I get used to this place. I'll have to work on adjusting quickly."

Matt glance over at her, he was really trying hard not to stare. But her bare shoulder revealed her flawless skin, soft and smooth. It made his mouth water. God he wanted her so badly, so so badly. It made him tremble a bit and he shrugged, "You could have asked for some help. I heard you cranking on the knobs in there. It's a shower not Cerebro." He teased.

He shifted himself so he was sitting toward her on the couch. "Okay so here's what I was thinking. You haven't had a man, and I've never had a woman so...." He paused, "Wait no wrong thing, forget I said that."

He cleared his throat. "I know a place down the street where we can get you a couple of things more womanly to wear. I say we go down there and get you at least something you can wear to relax in and something you can look for a job in." He told her, "Plus we can grab a bite to eat."

She smiled at his teasing, giving him a gentle nudge with her elbow in the side. "Maybe we can talk about that first thought down the road a bit, but right now didn't you say you had to wait for your payday to buy me some clothes?" she asked, head tilted thoughtfully. "I don't want to put you out at all. I'm sure I can scrounge up something decent to wear to look for a job."

Matt nodded, "That's true, but I was going to just use my credit card. I suppose a woman wearing a man's button up shirt wouldn't be too bad though, plus all you have to do is smile and flash a little boob and you could probably have any job you wanted."

He stood up and clapped his hands, "However we still need to eat, and I don't have shit to grub on here. So let's take a walk down to Milo's and I'll treat you to the best burger and fries you've ever had."

As they headed toward the door he spun toward her and said, "Oh the people know me there and they would never believe that you are hanging out with me, even if it's not romantic, want to do me a favor and act super into me when we get there?" He asked her smiling.

"A burger sounds wonderful." She smiled as she followed him to the door, laughing a little at his request. "And I think that would be good for a laugh. You'd like to see their reactions right?"

She grabbed his arm, wrapping her arm around it and pressing her body close to his. "Why don't we start now then? Give them a good show walking in."

Rogue felt incredible against him. Her body was so warm and firm yet soft and tender he wanted to feel more. He wanted to touch her all over. He did put his arm around her shoulders, his hand cupping her bare skin as they walked down to the corner

Milo's wasn't too busy but his favorite waitress was working as well as Milo himself. He stood at the grill and glanced over at them when they walked in. "Hey matt!" He called and went back to work at the grill for a second before he had to do a double take. "Whoa wait a second who's this beautiful woman here?"

Matt smiled and let Rogue go so he could introduce her. "This is Marie. She's from out of state and I told her that you had the best burgers around."

Milo raised an eyebrow, "Nice to meet you Marie...You Matt's secret online girlfriend or something. I've never seen this guy bring a girl in here before."

"You could say that." Rogue chuckled as she leaned against Matt, slipping one arm around his waist and pulling herself closer to him. "I'm looking forward to trying these famous burgers of yours."

She smiled up at Matt adoringly, playing her part perfectly, but also feeling a little twinge of real feelings for the man. He was trying so hard to help her and had been so kind to her. And the contact between them was wonderful. She had never been able to touch another so closely, so tenderly. It was new and great and something she wanted to continue experiencing.

Matt smiled and led Rogue off to a booth in the corner where a waitress came and took their order however she gave Rogue some strange looks. Matt leaned over and whispered into Rogue's ear, "I think she is wondering about my dick size, that's the only way I could get a beauty like you." He told her.
