Gods I'm getting hungry

The first duck I shot was a rabbit and I hit it with a stick.
lol - wow, be careful shooting, hear?

Jumping in on the argument about the best of what swims, my nephew caught a nice bit of rockfish on a trip to which he, as parson, was invited. He brought it home hoping his wife would approve (they are vegetarian for "small world" reasons.) We were the fortunate recipients of her refusal. I tried a variation on blackened, seared in the frying pan and finished off in a hot oven, and that was the best fish I ever had.

One of the best fish I have ever eaten is called Sculpin. We used to catch them off the coast of Cape Cod in moderate depths. They are an ugly fish that are usually considered a trash fish but they have a nice medalian of meat on both side of the Dorsal Fin.

Sculpin? On the Left Coast we call them either sculpin or scorpion fish. I don't know if ours are related to yours but in any event they make some of the best, most delicate and juicy eating one could ever dream of. Damn! I haven't had any for years. I gotta get me a kayak!

Just ask Walt Disney.......

I knew a girl named Bambi once and she didn't look anything like that.

Have you ever noticed that almost every strip place has a woman named Bambi? Why is that? Is she supposed to be cute and taste good? (MOst of those I have seen didn't look like they would qualify for either reason.)

Cat

Ummmm....guys....??.........aren't you forgetting something.......??

Bambi was a buck...not a doe!!!

Yep good stuff indeed.

The funny thing was how people looked when you pulled them up and started getting the meat off them.

Yeah, to this day there a lot of goofs who will shake one off the hook because their pectoral fins are sharp and the slime is toxic. Some people even kill them and throw them back!:eek: The horror of such waste makes my blood boil.

Slow your roll. Are you that fucking dense that you didn't clearly see the joke I made? Get your head out of your ass and fix yourself before you post anymore. Do not come at me like that ever again.

Don't you hate it when someone doesn't get the joke...or when someone is so defensive that they can't even stand being agreed with.
